Our History
Harrison Square Apartments have been home to individuals and families for over 50 years. In 2023, the Gainesville Housing Authority moved ahead to replace the aging building and infrastructure with a new 120-unit apartment campus, now known as Harrison Village. Because Harrison Village is located within Gainesville’s Athens Street Corridor that is currently in the process of revitalization – residents will benefit from landscape and area beautification, expanded roadway and great parking in this exciting work/live/play community. Also, Harrison Village residents can enjoy the Butler Community Center and Park, located just across the street.
